Life can be hard some times. That's an understatement for some unfortunate children. That's why I am excited to be working with a group of young ladies tonight from Refuge of Light. You can google it if you like. They are a ministry meeting the needs of these girls when no one else would. I've always liked helping the underdog. The one that needed to be rescued because he was being abused.
I remember when I was a little girl, I saw this poor puppy being drug down the street by some little boys, who obviously didn't care that he was too little to be walking so far so fast, or that he needed water. I walked over to them and told them I would trade them one of my rabbits for this dog. (I had more of those than I knew what to do with) Now, hindsight being 20/20, that probably wasn't the best idea. The rabbit probably scratched them, they dropped it, and it ran away. Nonetheless, I felt glad in my heart that I saved that little pup from being abused.
I hope this is the beginning of a long meaningful relationship to come. I hope and pray that this business is blessed with more opportunities like this.
